Meet Jaye
Jatesha “Jaye” Madden-Wilson is a Mom, Entrepreneur, Social Impact Speaker, Social Activist, Maternal Advocate and Self-sufficiency Coach. Jaye has created big strides in advocacy for women of color most notably with the First Lady and Governor of New Jersey as a public speaker and maternal health advocate for Nurture NJ with the Black Maternal Health crisis. On her own, she has reached over 1,000 women through her in person events and has created a reputation for her organization that is trusted for its authenticity and support. She connects and empowers women throughout the Melinated Spectrum to find their power and purpose in their lives. In her professional career as a Community Health Nurse, she worked as a Nursing Operational Manager while also lobbying in Washington DC, Albany NY and Trenton, NJ as a community advocate for the LGBT+ community. In these positions she saw the importance of how community advocacy and engagement created better physical, emotional and mental health outcomes for its people. Through her own personal transitions from marriage to divorce, she redefined motherhood by creating a community of support that changed the narrative of motherhood, sisterhood and womanhood through her women-empowerment organization, Melinated Moms.
Melinated Moms is a community-centered women empowerment membership for moms and women across the Melinated Spectrum. We are a social enterprise that primarily works with non-profit organizations to curate events that empower, motivate and cultivate our women to be better versions of themselves with the right supportive structures surrounding them. We bridge our women through the intersections of Motherhood, Sisterhood & Womanhood. Although Melinated Moms initially started as a self-reflective supportive community for moms and women of color; it has quickly grown into an amazing platform for empowerment, advocacy and motivation for the women in our community.
Jaye began her work with Melinated Moms in 2017 hosting social impact events that brought awareness and advocacy conversations to the intersections of Motherhood, Sisterhood and Womanhood. In the last three years, she has curated in person events for communities of color throughout the United States and Canada. Her virtual community has expanded into national and international areas including, Canada, the United Kingdom, Africa, India, the Caribbean and Australia. Jaye is the proud mother of 2 young girls, Nadiyah and Ava, who continue to move and motivate her to create a space where women's rights are acknowledged and not silenced.

The Man Behind the Melody
Ahmoni's infatuation for writing appeared on an hour bus ride to and from school, taking in the landscape and laughter of peers in his rural county of Surry. While at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Ahmoni attended his first open-mic and ignited his love for literary expression listening to lyricists paint pictures with diction and invoke waves of emotion to the audience. Ahmoni graced the stage by way of a dare from a good friend. As a result, over the years, Ahmoni continued to pair writing and singing for a soulful rendition of his thoughts.

On March 31, 2020 I released the CC: America Podcast which stands for Confidence Centers of America. CC: America has been a vision of mine since August 2010 and I am grateful that I got the courage to begin my journey in podcasting by sharing my own story of faith, inspiration and transformation.
This show has been a blessing in so many ways over the past year and has resulted in both me and my amazing guests inspiring others to follow their dreams. The bonus for me is I've been able to grow both mentally and spiritually as well.
Some may know and others may not, the title was very intentional. Similar to how we use CC: on the job, that was the premise for CC: America. It's a message from me and my guests copying whomever is meant to hear what is being shared. I hope you enjoy taking this trip down memory lane to the very first episode of The CC: America Podcast which aired via IG Live over a year ago.
Thank you for your continued support and please don't hesitate to share the show with a family member or friend.
Pandemic Proportions
Staying positive during life's adversities can be a challenge but with faith, you can overcome. Recently dealing with a month-long miscarriage was one of the scariest times in my life, but God. One surgery, 13 miscarriage pills, a 10-day antibiotic, multiple blood tests, and sonograms and I am still standing.
